If you’ve ever posted your LoyalFans link on Reddit, Twitter/X, Instagram, and three other places and then wondered where your subscribers actually came from, unfortunately LoyalFans is not going to magically tell you.
I know. It would be nice.
While LoyalFans does offer referral links and promotional campaign links, they are not designed to give you detailed traffic analytics like “this subscriber came from Reddit” or “this click came from Twitter.” If you want that level of tracking, you’ll usually need to bring in a third-party tool.
Getting a Referral Link or QR Code on LoyalFans
LoyalFans does have a built-in referral tools page that lets you generate referral links and QR codes for your page.
To find it:
- Go to Settings
- Click Promo Tools
- Open Referrals
On this page, you’ll see several referral options, including links for referring fans and creators.
Near the bottom of the page, you’ll find the Custom Link section.

Creating a Custom Link
The Custom Link tool lets you generate a referral link for a specific LoyalFans page.
Simply:
- Paste the LoyalFans URL you want to promote
- Generate the referral link
- Copy the new referral URL
You can then use that link in your social media profiles, posts, DMs, link pages, or anywhere else you promote yourself.
Generating a QR Code
Once your referral link has been generated, LoyalFans also gives you the option to create a QR code tied to that link.
Simply click the QR code option and LoyalFans will generate one automatically.
This can be useful if you:
- add QR codes to promotional graphics
- use business cards
- promote at events
- want fans to scan directly from another device
A Quick Note About Tracking
While the referral page is great for generating links and QR codes, it is not a full analytics platform.
If your goal is detailed tracking, such as…
- which subreddit generated clicks
- whether Twitter/X performed better than Reddit
- how many people clicked a specific promotion
…you’ll usually want to use a third-party tracking service like Bitly.
Many creators create separate tracking links for:
- Twitter/X
- specific subreddits
- different promo campaigns
That way you can compare which platforms are actually driving traffic instead of relying on guesswork.
A surprisingly effective backup method is simply messaging new subscribers and asking:
“Tell me where you found me for a sexy reward 😏”
You’ll get a lot more answers than you’d think, and it gives you another way to understand where your traffic is coming from.
