How to Add Discounts to Your LoyalFans Video Store

If you’ve ever stared at your LoyalFans video store thinking, “I should probably run a sale… but where do I even click?” you’re not alone. LoyalFans has a lot of features, and sometimes the important ones are just hiding in plain sight like a weird scavenger hunt.

The good news is that once you know where to go, setting up a video store discount is actually pretty simple. And sales can be a really easy way to boost purchases without doing a ton of extra work.

Here’s how to do it step by step.

Where to Find Discounts

To set up a sale, you’ll need to go through your video store.

First, open your Video Store.

You can do this by:

  • Clicking Video Store in the toolbox on the right-hand side of the screen
  • Or clicking Video Store from the toolbox at the top of the page

Once you’re in the video store, look for the Manage Discounts button and click it.

Choosing Your Discount Type

Inside the discount settings, you’ll see two main options:

Global Discounts
These apply to a larger group of people and are great for running sales across your store.

You can apply global discounts to:

  • Subscribers
  • Followers
  • Specific groups

This is what you’ll use if you want to run something like a subscriber-only sale or a general promotion.

You can also set permanent global discounts for subscribers as a perk. This can make subscribing feel more valuable since they know they’ll always get a better deal compared to non-subscribers. It’s a simple way to encourage more people to subscribe instead of just buying one-off content.

Fan Discounts
These are more targeted. You can search for a specific fan by name and give them their own personal discount.

This is useful if you want to:

  • Reward a loyal fan
  • Encourage a specific person to buy
  • Run a more private promotion

Setting Your Discount

Once you choose the type of discount, you’ll set the percentage.

LoyalFans allows discounts between:

  • 5 percent and 90 percent off
  • In 5 percent increments

So you can choose something small like 10 percent, or go bigger if you’re trying to move a lot of content quickly.

You can also set a start date and end date for your discount. This is helpful if you want to run a limited-time sale for a holiday, weekend, or promotion.

If you don’t want a time limit, you can leave the start date, end date, or both blank. This works well for things like ongoing subscriber perks or longer-term discounts.

When to Use Discounts

Discounts are great when you want to give fans a little push without changing your regular pricing.

Some common ways creators use them:

  • Running holiday or weekend sales
  • Getting older content moving again
  • Rewarding subscribers
  • Giving hesitant fans a reason to finally click purchase

Even a small discount can make a difference when someone is already considering buying.

Keep your discounts feeling limited. If everything is always on sale, it stops feeling like a sale.

Use discounts alongside messages or posts so fans actually know they exist.

And do not be afraid to test different percentages. Sometimes a 20 percent discount performs just as well as a 50 percent one, without cutting into your earnings as much.

Setting up a video store sale on LoyalFans might feel hidden at first, but once you know where the Manage Discounts button lives, it’s pretty quick to set up.

It’s one of those small tools that can quietly increase your income without adding extra work. A few clicks, a little strategy, and suddenly your content is a lot more tempting to buy.
