Ever send a message too fast, then instantly regret it? Maybe you dropped a typo, sent the wrong file, or just weren’t feelin’ it. Happens to the best of us. Unfortunately, OnlyFans makes it a little annoying to fix. Unlike some platforms where you can unsend a message anytime, OnlyFans puts a timer on it because of course they do. You’ve got up to 24 hours to unsend something as a creator. Fans? They get just a few minutes. Not exactly generous, but hey, it’s something. Here’s how to do it before that window closes.
Open the conversation with the message you want to unsend.
If you’re on your desktop, click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the message and select Unsend.

If you’re on your phone, tap and hold the message, then select Unsend when that option appears.
Check that the message disappears from the chat. Just keep in mind: the recipient might have seen a message preview before you got to it.
What Unsend Doesn’t Do
Just because you unsend a message doesn’t mean the fan never saw it. If they opened it before you hit “unsend,” it’s still in their brain even if it’s gone from the chat. Also, if they screenshotted it or saved it, you’re out of luck. Use it as a cleanup tool, not a foolproof eraser.
Unsend is great for quick fixes, but try not to rely on it as a way to test out risky content or messages you’re unsure of. If you’re constantly unsending, it might be time to slow down before you hit send in the first place.
