Dropping heat in someone’s inbox? Good. Doing it without locking your media? Not so good. If you’re sending out pay-per-view content, you want to make sure your photo or video is actually behind a paywall and not just sitting there for free like it wandered in by accident.
Here’s how to make sure your media gets the price tag it deserves.
Go to your Messages tab and open a conversation. Click the picture icon to upload from your device…
Or you can add from your vault, of course. Click the picture box icon to select from your Vault.
Once your photo or video is in the message box, click the price tag icon on the corner of the media and set your price (It must be between $3 and $100).
- If you want to include a caption, just type it in, but remember:
- Captions show up outside the lock, so they’ll be visible even if the media isn’t. If you want the caption IN the paywall then click the arrow to cover the blue box around the text too.
- No caption = the fan has no idea what you sent them so may not unlock.

Finally hit SEND and your media will appear in the message thread locked!
