How to Think About Subscription Fees

Let’s face it: choosing your subscription price can feel like setting up your dating profile. You want to attract the right people, not give away the goods for next to nothing, and still make sure you’re getting what you’re worth. And just like in dating, if you price too low, you might end up stuck entertaining folks who don’t see your value. Too high, and you risk potential fans ghosting before they even see what you’re about.

So how do you find your sweet spot?

What Are You Actually Offering?

Before you set a number, take a minute to think about what your fans are getting. Is your page mainly feed content with teasers and pay-per-view? Or do subscribers get daily posts, nudes, customs, and the occasional 2 a.m. voice note? The more value you’re offering in the sub, the more it should cost. Period.

Low Doesn’t Always Mean More Fans

A $3.99 subscription might get more signups, but they’re not always quality fans. People who pay more tend to tip more, stay longer, and actually engage. Quantity can work, but if you’re burning out for pennies, it’s not worth it.

High Can Work Too…If You Back It Up

Want to charge $39.99? Go for it. Just make sure your page reflects that value. That doesn’t mean you have to post nudes every day, but your profile, your previews, and your vibe should scream “premium experience.” High-ticket fans expect polish, attention, and consistent content.

Test and Tweak

You’re not married to your price. Start at one level, see how your fans respond, and adjust if needed. Try subscriber polls or message your top tippers for feedback. A temporary discount or free trial can also give you insight into who’s browsing and who’s ready to spend.

Offer Deals to Keep People Around

Fans love feeling like they’re getting a deal. Try dropping a monthly discount code, birthday coupon, or exclusive renewal offer. Loyal subscribers are gold, and small incentives go a long way to keep them happy.

You’re Not Just Selling Content, You’re Selling Access

Your subscription is more than just a content library. It’s access to you—your energy, your attention, your vibe. That has value. Whether it’s flirty chats, BTS peeks, or casual DMs, your presence is part of the price. Own that.

There’s no one-size-fits-all number, and that’s a good thing. Your sub price should match your energy, your boundaries, and your goals. Don’t base it on what you think fans will pay. Base it on what feels right for the experience you’re offering. And if your gut says it’s time for a price bump? Trust it.
