How to Set Up Your Tiers on Fansly

If you’re looking to give your fans a little something extra (and rake in those extra dollars), subscription tiers are where it’s at. Think of them as customizable levels of access: basic, mid-level, and VIP—each with perks and price points that make sense for how you run your content. And hey, not every fansite has this feature, so let’s give Fansly a rare pat on the back. Setting up tiers can seem a little tedious, but don’t sweat it—I’m here to make it as painless as possible.

First, head to your ‘Creator Dashboard’. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, and you’ll find it in the dropdown menu next to a car gauge icon (because, you know, you’re in the driver’s seat or whatever).

Once there, click on ‘Plans/Promos.’

It might look like a lot at first, but relax—we’re focusing on tiers for now. Scroll down the page a bit and click ‘Create Subscription Tier.’

Now comes the fun part: customization! You’ll get a pop-up with a bunch of options. Start by naming your tier—go wild with creativity or stick to classics like “Basic” or “VIP.” Whatever vibes with your brand. Next, pick a color for the tier; this helps fans easily spot their status with a quick  glance.

Time to list the perks! This is where you lay out the goods: exclusive posts, private messaging, early previews, or even voting power in polls. Add each benefit to the text box and hit ‘Add Benefit’ for more.

If your new tier includes perks from another one (like VIP including everything in Basic), check the box under ‘Included Tiers’ to bundle them together. This will make your life SO much easier!

Want to make a tier exclusive? Toggle on the subscriber limit option and set the cap—perfect if you only want, say, 50 VIPs.

Once everything’s set, click ‘Create,’ and ta-da! You’ve got yourself a shiny new tier. Rinse and repeat for as many tiers as you like.

All your active tiers will appear under ‘Your Active Subscription Tiers.’

You can disable a tier (just know existing subscriptions will expire at the end of their billing cycle) or edit it by clicking ‘Edit Subscription Tier.’

You can add discounts.

Oh, and don’t forget about discounts. Click ‘Add Discount’ to create one for a tier.

Choose between a percentage discount (e.g., 10%, 20%) or a fixed dollar amount, then set the duration, eligibility (new subscribers, existing ones, or both), and whether it applies to auto-renew subscriptions.

Lastly, tweak your follow settings. You can let fans follow for free or restrict it to users with active payment methods—great for weeding out non-paying lurkers.

And that’s it! With subscription tiers set up, you’re ready to give your fans the experience they crave while boosting your revenue. Win-win!
