How to Send a Mass Message to Certain Fans on Fansly

Want to send a mass message to some fans but not the entire crowd? Fansly, for once, delivers. There’s a tool to help you craft messages for specific groups. Sure, the setup might feel a little like navigating an escape room at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a breeze. Here’s how to break it down step by step.

Open the Mass Message Tool

Start by opening the Mass Message tool. Not sure how to get there? Just click the envelope icon in the upper-right corner of your message threads.

Inside, you’ll find a series of checkboxes designed to help you narrow down who you’re targeting.

Pick Your Audience

This is where you decide who gets your message or PPV.

  • Subscribers: Want to send something to your paying fans? Check this box. You can even filter by subscription tiers or auto-renew status. If you click Include All Subscription Tiers, a pop-up will let you select from your active tiers.
  • Expired Subscribers: Don’t forget those who’ve let their subscriptions lapse. Target them with a tempting renewal deal by checking this box.
  • Followers: Want to reach your followers instead of—or in addition to—your subscribers? Check the Followers box.

Step 3: Exclude the Unwanted
Sometimes, it’s about who doesn’t see your message. Fansly gives you options to exclude certain groups:

  • Offline Users: Want to focus only on fans who are actively online? Check this box.
  • Non-Subscribed Creators: Keep your content strategy private by excluding creators who follow but aren’t subscribed.
  • Specific Fans: Got someone you’d rather leave out? No problem. Search their username in the excluded users’ search box to make sure they don’t receive your freebies or PPVs.

Target Specific Lists

If you’ve taken the time to organize your fans into lists (bravo!), you can send messages directly to these curated groups:

  • Included Lists: Click the plus sign to select which fan lists should receive your message.
  • Excluded Lists: Need to leave a particular group out? Click the plus sign here and choose the lists you want to exclude.

Fansly’s messaging might feel clunky the first time around, but once you’ve set your audience preferences, it’s a wee bit easier to manage. Take the time to learn it, it’s worth it.
