Your Media Cloud is basically your treasure vault, keeping all your content in one spot. The best part? You can send everything out directly from the cloud—quick and easy, no extra steps.
Why would you want to do this? Sometimes it’s easier to plan out your media sales, PPV, or media bundles directly in the vault than inside a message. Try it out, you might like it! (And if you don’t, that’s fine too.)
Now, let’s skip the fluff and get right to it. Here’s how to make it happen.
Sending Content from the Media Cloud
To post or message content right from your Media Cloud, you’ve got two options.
Option One: Click those handy three dots at the bottom of the media you want to share. A menu will pop up with options to post on your timeline, send a mass message, or message individually.
Option Two: Select the content by clicking on it, and a set of icons will appear at the top of the cloud, offering the same choices as the dropdown.
Quick icon guide:
- Three Dots and Lines: Post the content on your timeline.
- Envelope: Send the content in an individual message.
- Speech Bubble: Send the content in a mass message.
- Pencil: Rename the file you’ve selected. (Big note: you can only rename one at a time so make sure you’re renaming your files before you upload them!)
- File Folder: Move your file to somewhere else in the Cloud.
- Trashcan: A magical portal to outer space (kidding, it’s the delete icon, obvs).
That’s it! It’s pretty simple, overall. You can send multiple pieces of content at once this way and, after a recent update, you can attach videos AND pictures to the same message. (Yes, this wasn’t a thing until recently, don’t ask us why.)
