For those of you new to this, putting a preview image on a video is a must. Fans want to know what they’re buying, if they’ve seen or purchased it before, if it’ll be up their alley–or not. When you send a preview image with a locked video, the fan can see the preview image, but the video itself is—in the case of LoyalFans—a gray background with a lock over it. (Yes, very creative.)
When you’re locking a video for PPV or even sending it to just one fan, you want to pick a preview image that entices. You want to tempt them enough to get them to buy, but you don’t want to overdo it—if your cover is too revealing, they won’t need the video. Thankfully, LoyalFans gives you options and a little help—because strategic teasing is an art form.

Blammo, you have three options on how to pick your cover.
Option One: LoyalFans will automatically generate five covers for you. Just hit “Select From Generated Covers” and click the one that gives off the right vibes.
Option Two: Not feeling any of those? No problem. You can “Upload Custom Cover,” grab a pic from your device, and make that the cover instead.
Option Three: If you already have a cover ready in your LoyalFans cloud, choose ‘Pick Custom Cover From Media Cloud’. You’ll be brought to your media cloud, just select the pic you want, and you’re good to go.
