When a fan buys content, they can view it from their LoyalFans account—as long as they have one. If you want to give a fan the option to download specific content, LoyalFans has that covered. This might be useful for customs if a fan wants to save it to their device, but only enable this if you’re cool with it. After all, you don’t want any whole ass jerks sharing your content that belongs behind a paywall.
Oh, and FYI, this download option is for videos only. So if a fan wants to download pics? Yeeeah, that’s not happening.
We’re assuming you’re in the message thread of the person you’re trying to let download a video, and that the video is already attached. Now, the download option doesn’t appear until you lock the video, so lock it by setting a price. (If you couldn’t already tell from this, you HAVE to lock in order to allow a download. We don’t make the rules.)
Once that’s done, click the little pencil on the thumbnail.
In the ‘Edit’ pop-up, scroll to ‘Allow Download’ at the bottom and toggle the button. It’ll turn red when downloads are enabled.
Click ‘Done,’ and now you’ll see a tiiiiny green download icon on the thumbnail next to the video length. Now you can hit ‘Send.’ Once it processes and sends, the video will have a ‘Download’ badge across the corner. Yeehaw(?), your fan can now download it.
Hot tip: LoyalFans is currently the only of three main sites (Fansly and OnlyFans) that allows downloading like this.
