So, this was supposed to be about unreading a message before your fan sees you’ve read it—except, surprise! Fansly doesn’t show them you’ve read their message. Classic Fansly, right? Reasons why Fansly sucks, number 472. But hey, while it doesn’t alert fans when you’ve read their messages, marking them as unread is actually a handy way to keep tabs on what you’ve replied to and what’s still sitting in your inbox. So, we’re still going to teach you how to put a message on unread.
If you’re not already in your messages (click the mail icon in the upper-right corner if you’re not), navigate to the thread with the message you want to unread. Once you’re there, look for the three small dots in the top right corner of the thread and click on them.
A dropdown will appear, and the top option will be ‘Mark as Unread.’ Click that, and your message will go back to ‘Unread’ status.
If you’re the type who needs to double- and triple-check everything (hello, fellow anxious souls), just glance at the ‘Messages’ column. If you see a blue dot with a number, congratulations—you’ve successfully managed to keep the message in its unread glory.
