Did you send a message by mistake or did autocorrect do you wrong? From fixing a mistake to deleting the whole ass message, we’re here to walk you through the process.
Go to Your Messages
If you’re not already in your messages (which would be… weird), just click the little envelope on the toolbar and then hit “View All.” You’ve done this before, you don’t need a picture guide.
Delete the Message
If you left the message thread due to the shame of autocorrect or panic over what your fan is going to do or say in response, go back! You’re fine!
Once you’re back at the Message of Shame, hover over it or, if you’re on your phone, hold down. Three dots will appear. Click on those dots, and a dropdown menu with ‘Delete’ and ‘Edit’ will… drop down. Just click ‘Delete,’ and the message will be gone.
Editing the Message
If you don’t want to delete the message completely but just want to edit it, click ‘Edit’ from the dropdown menu.
The message will appear in the textbox, and you can make your changes there.
