One huge plus about LoyalFans is their Video Store feature. Instead of being forced to use timelines and mass messages for fans to buy your video clips, LoyalFans gives you a standalone store with your creator account.
Fans, Subscribers, and lurkers can go to one designated place to buy clips without ever needing to message–any time of day or night! This is a huge money maker, but it can be a bit difficult to navigate, and that’s where we come in. We break down how to get videos in your store, how to price, add discounts for specific fan groups,
Getting to the Video Store
There are two ways to make your way to the Video Store. The simplest way to get to the store is to click the store icon from the toolbar.
The other way to get to the Video Store is to click your profile pic image in the upper right corner of the LoyalFans homepage. From there, a tool menu will appear. Click the Video Store button on the menu to be taken to the Video Store page.

Uploading a New Video to Your Store
Alright, let’s talk about getting your video into the store before diving into the details. Videos can’t be bigger than 6GBs, and there isn’t a cap on how short videos can be (GIFs can even be posted as long as they are in mp4 format).
To upload a video, click the arrow next to ‘Add Video to My Store.’ A new window will pop up where you can enter your title, description, and tags (we’ll cover tags later).
To select the video you want to upload, you can choose it from your Media Cloud or directly from your hard drive. Scroll down to find the image of two squares.
If you’re uploading from your hard drive, click the plus sign. Choose your video, and it will begin processing. Uploading from your hard drive automatically adds it to your Media Cloud, saving you from uploading it again for your LoyalFans content.
To upload from your cloud, simply click on the LoyalFans logo. Your cloud will open, allowing you to select the video you want to upload.
Adding a Custom Cover, Preview, or Locked Cover
After you have the video you want uploaded then, you can pick what thumbnail you want or if you want a preview of the video to play. We will break down all four choices for the cover or preview of your store clips.
#1 Auto-Generated Covers
When you upload a video, you’ll see several auto-generated covers to choose from. These are still images that potential customers will view instead of a preview. Simply click on your favorite, and a checkmark will indicate it’s selected.
Also, don’t forget to select ‘Show Single Frame’ when you make this choice, or your video will show a preview.
#2 Custom Covers
You might not like any of the auto-generated covers selected, or you’d like to use a censored cover so you don’t have to give away all the goods. Whatever the reason, you can upload a custom cover for the video.
You can do this by clicking the ‘Select Cover From Media Cloud’ button.’Your Media Cloud will open, and you’ll get to choose the cover you want to use.
If you don’t have a custom cover in your Media Cloud, you can upload one directly from your hard drive by clicking the ‘Upload Custom Cover’ button.
#3 Previews
A preview is a snippet of your video that will autoplay for potential customers. To set one up, select ‘Show Preview,’ and LoyalFans will generate it.
You can choose your own if you have a preview in your cloud or on your hard drive. Simply click ‘Select custom preview video from Media Cloud’ to use it.
Keep in mind your preview can be up to 90 seconds long or 500MB max.
Just like with the custom cover, you can upload your video straight from your device. Simply click ‘Upload Custom Preview Video.’
#4 Locked Thumbnails
If you prefer not to give away any free nudity or want to keep the images in your video a mystery, you might want to use a locked thumbnail. This will show a completely blurred image with a lock on top instead of a clear image or preview.
To get a locked cover, simply select ‘Show Locked Screen.’ Your video will then display a locked placeholder instead of a thumbnail.
Allowing Fans to Download Videos
LoyalFans lets you give fans the option to download your videos. Just toggle the ‘Allow Download’ button. But remember, downloaded videos won’t have the LoyalFans watermark that’s usually on your uploaded content.
When a video is available for download, it will show up with a green ‘Download’ badge across the thumbnail.
Pricing Your Video
Once you’ve decided on a price for your video, enter the amount in the ‘Price’ box. Keep in mind, you can’t set a price lower than $1.
Putting Hashtags and Keywords (And Why You Should)
Just like with any social media site, using hashtags and keywords is key to getting your clips noticed in the store. LoyalFans offers individual stores for creators and a global store where fans can see videos for sale from all creators. When you post a video, it automatically appears at the top of the global store page, making it visible to fans.
However, with many creators uploading videos simultaneously, your video can quickly get pushed down the page. So, how can fans find your videos in the global store? By using hashtags and relevant keywords.
For hashtags, use keywords that are important to the video you’re posting. Just type out the keyword, press enter, and it will turn into a searchable hashtag.
Scheduling Videos to Post In Store Later
For busy content creators juggling packed schedules, LoyalFans has a scheduling feature. You or your team can schedule videos to go live in your store later, keeping your content flowing smoothly without manually posting whenever you want to post something.
To schedule, click on the ‘Post It Later’ button next to the calendar icon at the bottom of the toolbox.
A calendar will pop up, and you can choose the month and day you want the video to be posted. Then you will click ‘Next’.
You can then select the exact time and choose either AM or PM. After that, click ‘OK,’ and your video will be scheduled for a future date.
Adding a Discount to Your Videos
You can add a discount if you want a specific fan group to pay less for your video. You can also create storewide discounts for all videos, but we’ll cover that in another post.
To add a discount to an individual video, scroll down to ‘Discounts (Optional)’ and click the red ‘Add’ button.
First, you will get click on the dropdown menu under ‘For’ and choose which group you want to receive the discount.
Next, choose how much you want the discount to be. It ranges from 5% off to 90% off.
If you want the discount to be permanent, you’re all set. If you’d prefer it to be for a limited time, just set a start and end date by selecting two dates and times on the calendar, the same way you would when scheduling your video to be posted.
Once you set the dates, click ‘Confirm,’ and you’re all done! But don’t stop there! Go on and add all your old videos when you have the time. The LoyalFans store is a great source of passive income and we highly recommend taking advantage of it.
